Aniko Blair-West

I grew up in the United Kingdom (UK). Both my parents were Hungarian and I speak fluent Hungarian. I moved to Australia in December 1990.

I am the proud Mum of two grown boys; both attended C&K Everton Park Kindy. While my boys attended I volunteered as Assistant Treasurer and then President and really enjoyed contributing to the running of the kindergarten.

I started out in Early Childhood as a teacher aid at Queen of Apostles school. I loved working with the younger children and decided to do my Certificate III in early childhood. Initially I worked part time at C&K Everton Park (Group 2) and C&K Wilston and that is where I first worked with Karla and it was lovely when she later joined the C&K Everton Park team. When the Group 1 assistant Debbie retired I decided to work full time at C&K Everton Park and haven’t looked back. I feel like this is where I truly belong.

I enjoy nurturing the children, helping them extend, grow and support them to have a sense of belonging to our community.

I love my job and being a member of this great little team. I appreciate my colleagues. We work so well as we can share our views, thoughts, experiences, and values.
