I have been educating young children for almost 20 years in childcare, primary school and community kindergarten settings.

I absolutely love teaching in community kindergarten. It is such a magical place where children can play, investigate, explore and grow. I place strong emphasis on developing a sense of belonging and agency at Kindy. It is so rewarding to see how the children develop relationships with their peers and our team throughout the year.

My time spent teaching Prep and Year 1 in primary schools has also given me a firm understanding of how I can support children and their families throughout the year in readiness for transitioning to Prep.

The very first time I walked through the gate at Everton Park Kindy I was so impressed by the huge outdoor area. It remains my favourite part about working here. There are so many opportunities to explore and engage with the children.

I also feel so lucky to work alongside such a wonderful team who are so dedicated to ensuring our children and their families have the best experience possible at our Kindy.
